The Lakes Distillery's Whiskymaker, Dhavall Gandhi, takes inspiration from the UNESCO World Heritage Site where a state-of-the-art distillery has been built meticulously within a 160-year-old farmstead on the banks of the River Derwent.The One Collection is a range of fine blended whiskies showcasing the role of innovative cask seasoning in flavour elevation.This release of The One is a singular blend of select grain and malt Scotch whiskies from Speyside and Islay with The Lakes Single Malt at its heart, finished in orange wine casks from Andalucía. Fresh lychee, marmalade and hints of tobacco on the nose lead to a palate of gentle peat, tropical fruits and candied orange peel with a clean and smooth finish.Non-chill filtered for a richer mouthfeel and fuller flavour, with only the natural colours derived from our oak casks in every bottle.Enjoy as you please.
